ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
1. What is RethinkStack?
RethinkStack is a non-profit community based in Ho Chi Minh City. Members work at world-leading corporations — in the US, China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Vietnam — and share AI, technology and proven systems with Vietnam's small businesses.
2. Is the community a consulting firm?
No. RethinkStack sells no software, takes no vendor commission and has no sales team. Members take part voluntarily because they want to give back and share value with society.
3. Who are the members?
Vietnamese professionals and international friends currently working — not formerly — at international corporations and leading technology companies, across AI, data, cloud, enterprise software, e-commerce, operations and marketing. See the expert network.
4. Which businesses are a good fit?
Small and mid-sized businesses in Vietnam — usually without an IT department, or with one too small to implement a large system. Any industry: manufacturing, distribution, retail, F&B, services, logistics, education, healthcare…
5. Who is the community for?

PROGRAMS & COST
1. Does joining cost anything?
No. Programs for small businesses — free website, CRM, automation & AI, ERP, mobile apps, training and mentoring — are free. Some third-party platforms may carry a small monthly running cost (a domain, hosting); members always estimate it up front and prefer the zero-cost option.
2. What does the community support beyond software?
- Training on standard working processes and appropriate issue handling
- Data analysis for decision making
- Business development and marketing strategy based on leading-company practice in developed countries
- Setting up hardware, servers, cloud infrastructure and solution architecture
3. What does the free website include?
A conversation to understand the business, design and build of an SEO-ready fast website, a contact form, domain, Google Business Profile and Analytics connected, a guide to updating content yourself, and full handover of accounts and source code. The domain and every account are in your name.
4. Which program should I start with?
You do not need to know in advance. After you register, a member who knows your industry talks with you for 45 minutes and sends a written summary: where to start, which system fits, and what you can do yourself.
5. What is Agentic AI, and why is it the community's destination?
Agentic AI means AI agents that take in requests, look up data, make decisions within the scope they are given and complete the work on their own — people set goals, supervise and handle exceptions. Using AI for isolated tasks is only the first step; a fully autonomous system run by Agentic AI is the real transformation AI brings. That is the destination we want every member business to reach, step by step from website, CRM and automation.
6. My industry is not in the examples. Can AI still apply?
Yes. The applications of Agentic AI, technology and automation are endless and not limited to the cases shown under Proven solutions. Starting from your own ideas, members can develop AI tailored to your specific business problem — whatever your industry or size. Describe the idea when you register.
7. What can AI agents do on their own in a business?
For example: scheduled customer follow-up by email, Zalo and WhatsApp; answering customer questions 24/7; preparing quotations, processing orders and issuing invoices; chasing invoice payments; reconciling bank accounts and transactions; running the warehouse, controlling inventory and orchestrating the supply chain; booking pages on web and mobile, and online stores that take orders and bookings on their own, for any industry. 8. Can I see an Agentic AI system actually running?
Yes. IMPLEMENTATION & HANDOVER
1. How long does implementation take?
- Website: 2–4 weeks once content is ready
- CRM: 3–6 weeks
- First automation / AI process: 2–4 weeks
- First ERP module: 4–8 weeks
- First mobile app version: 3–6 weeks
2. Who owns the system after handover?
The business. Source code, infrastructure accounts, data and documentation are all yours. Members use mainstream and open-source platforms only, so a future engineer can take over without the original person explaining.
3. Is there support after handover?
Yes. You stay in the community peer group, join the regular sessions, and can book 1:1 mentoring before big decisions. There is no "mandatory maintenance" package.
4. Is business data kept confidential?
Yes. Scope and access are agreed in writing before each project; accounts are in the business's name; members follow the community privacy policy.
FOR EXPERTS
1. Who can become a community expert?
Anyone working at an international corporation or leading technology company with hands-on experience in AI, data, cloud, enterprise software, operations, business development or marketing — who wants to give time to Vietnam's small businesses.
2. How much time is expected?
You choose. It can be one session a quarter, a few hours of 1:1 mentoring a month, or accompanying one implementation over a few weeks. The community matches you with a business by your strengths and the time you have.
3. Do I need to be in Vietnam?
No. Most conversations happen online. Members in Ho Chi Minh City support in-person meetings when needed.
4. How do I register?
